Kilroy Productions, Inc.

December 2007

Notes from the Director:
Dear Studio:
I don’t remember a semester going by as quickly as this fall semester did. We watched music grow and sprout and take root like weeds in a field. We are also witnessing a whole crop of our long-time students get ready for their last semester of High School. And it Holiday Concert time! Happy Holidays to all.

In this Issue:
Look for the Westchester/CT Studio Winter Concert cast lists, dates & location. Check out our Holiday music gift certificates & referral game.

As always feel free to contact our office with any questions, concerns or ideas. Also be sure to visit the website to get up-to-the-minute news, www.kilroyproductions.com .

Thank you for choosing KPMS to bring music into your family’s lives. We wish you a Happy Holidays & a New Year filled with promise.

Jerry

Westchester & CT Studios Winter Concerts Set:
We don’t call them recitals, because they are more than that, students playing, parents playing, teachers playing. Everyone gets in the fun and voilà a concert.

These events are very important because it gives the teachers an opportunity to note the ground the student has taken over the semester, they offer the student the chance to stretch and develop the performance muscle doing solos or small ensemble work as themselves, not in a large group or as a character in a play & they support the other students out there exercising their self-expression in music.

The Westchester & CT Winter Concerts will be December 17 & 18, 6:30PM, in the Garden Room in the Katonah Village Library, 26 Bedford Road (Route 117), Katonah, New York 10549.

Here is the cast list for both dates. We have not heard from everyone, and have only removed those who have communicated that their child will not be participating. If you are not planning on having your child participate, please let us know immediately.

Calling all musicians who are studying a 2nd instrument in school:
Now is the time to schedule the violin or viola lessons. Or maybe the percussion lessons that would round out the band! We have lesson openings in both instruments now, so give us a call & supplement their music training in the band or orchestra at school.

We will be offering the pre-paid semester program again as well as the month-to-month billing. There is a discount with the pre-paid semester billing. We will be sending out a separate email, please respond by December 22 for a complimentary ½ hour lesson.
