Notes from the Director:
Dear Studio:
As we get ready for the Spring Concerts, it is amazing how quickly this semester went. The growth has been both stunning, and fun. We are looking forward to everyone participating in the concert, as it really is the opportunity for each student to go public with the ground they have taken, and share the celebration with each other. Community helps encourage, grow confidence, and fondness of the art.

NYSSMA accomplishments so far:
Seann Cantatore, voice student from White Plains, NY, has received a perfect 100 on her score, and is now eligible to be invited to be in All-State Choir. That is an amazing accomplishment Seann, and congratulations to the entire Cantatore family. Seann is a legacy family with the studio, as her older brother Alex graduated and wowed us with a senior recital last year. GOOD WORK SEANN!
WE will report more, as the up-county Solo Festival will take place May 15-16. Good luck to all, please let us know immediately if you need anything (i.e. accompaniment, extra sight reading training)
KPMS Spring Concert Dates are Set
The KPMS Spring Concerts will happen Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the Katonah Library, in the Garden Room. This beautiful setting, will host two concerts that night, 5:30 7:15PM. The cast list for each will go out on May 22. Please let us know if your child will NOT be participating, as all are invited, and anticipated. It is the perfect way for each student to go public with all the ground they have taken this semester and year.
Make-Up Lessons:
As we near the end of the semester, it is important to get all outstanding lessons scheduled for make-ups. The agreement for both students & teachers is to be available to make up all lessons missed, regardless of who missed it. Please be in touch with your teachers ASAP & call the office with any questions.
